Established in 1980, Z Construction has built a reputation as one of the region’s most trusted and experienced commercial builders. With over 1,500 completed projects totaling more than 15 million square feet—that’s over five Empire State Buildings worth of construction—our portfolio reflects a legacy of quality, innovation, and integrity. We’ve delivered everything from office buildings and restaurants to banks and medical facilities, each project tailored to meet the client’s vision and built to the highest standards. As a leader in sustainable construction, we’ve proudly completed more than 100 LEED-certified buildings, proving our commitment to environmentally responsible development. The company was founded by Alan Zirkelbach, a builder with deep industry knowledge, a passion for high-performance structures, and a personal commitment to treating every project as if it were his own. Today, Z Construction continues to raise the bar in commercial construction through decades of experience and its focus on value engineering.
