Cem Aygül, PhD, is a skilled researcher and engineer with extensive experience in 3D printing and robotic materials. Currently serving as a Senior 3D Printing R&D Engineer and Engineering Consultant at Z-Polymers, Cem's previous roles include a Doctoral Researcher at Tufts University, where research focused on elastomeric materials for soft robotics, and a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, emphasizing small-volume robotic material design. Prior experience includes positions as a Weapon Systems Design Engineer and Mechanical Design Engineer at FNSS Savunma Sistemleri A.Ş., and research on miniature soft robots at Bilkent University. Cem holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University, a PhD in Robotics from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bilkent University.
