Wilfried Buiron (阮奕信) has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2016 when they became an Analyst at McKinsey & Company. In 2018, they took on a Strategy Analyst Intern role at JD.COM, AI+ Innovation Studio. Wilfried also founded Atelier Wen in 2018, an independent direct-to-consumer watch brand. In 2020, they became a Founder in Residence at Entrepreneur First and in 2021 they founded Zaapi, a software solutions provider for Southeast Asian e-commerce sellers.
Wilfried Buiron obtained their International Baccalaureate from Lycée International des Pontonniers between 2014 and 2017. Wilfried then attended the University of Warwick from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in International Management with a 1st Class. In 2015 and 2016, they attended Peking University as an exchange student, also earning a Bachelor of Science in International Management. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Schwarzman Scholar at Tsinghua University, where they earned a Master's degree in Global Affairs. In 2016, they also obtained an HSK 6 certification from the Confucius Institute Headquarters.
