Graeme Smith

Graeme Smith is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in technology and product development. Currently serving as SVP Engineering at Zalando since May 2025, Graeme previously held the position of Chief Product Engineering Officer at Oxa, focusing on the advancement of universal autonomy in various industries. At YouTube, Graeme acted as Senior Director of Engineering, leading multiple creator-focused teams. Prior roles include CEO of Sizmek by Amazon, where Graeme managed a large multidisciplinary team and established best practices, and Managing Director at Amazon Development Centre in Scotland, responsible for a team focused on advanced machine learning projects. Graeme's earlier experience includes a managerial role at Accenture, developing web interfaces for Barclays bank. Graeme holds a 1st Class Honours degree in Computing from the University of Aberdeen.
