Joyce Chen is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and software development. Currently serving as the VP of Engineering Beauty at Zalando since March 2022, Joyce has held key roles at Nordstrom, including Sr. Director of Engineering and Director of Engineering from December 2018 to January 2022. Prior to that, Joyce spent over eight years at Microsoft, where significant contributions were made as Principal Software Engineering Manager, leading a team to deliver scalable cloud infrastructure for Microsoft Intune, and as Development Lead in the Server & Tools division. Earlier roles include Development Lead at DataTzu and Microsoft Corporation, and System Programmer Lead at Electronic Form Systems. Joyce Chen holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Houston and a Bachelor in Computer Science from Soochow University.
