Thinh Vu

Thinh Vu is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in developing advanced systems and optimizing algorithms. Currently serving as the Lead Data Scientist at Zalo since February 2023, Thinh Vu leads a team focused on recommendation and chatbot systems, achieving a 45% increase in click-through rates and creating a domain-specific smart chatbot utilizing Retrieval-Augmented Generation and Large Language Model technologies. Previously, Thinh Vu worked at Sendo.vn as a Senior Data Scientist, enhancing search and suggestion results for a major e-commerce platform, and at Chung-Ang University as a Research Assistant, concentrating on rumor detection and event extraction from Twitter using various machine learning models. Thinh Vu's career began at VNG Corporation, where data analysis and a friend suggestion system were developed using the Random Forest algorithm. Thinh Vu holds a Master of Science in Machine Learning from Chung-Ang University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
