Carl Bootland

Senior Researcher - Cryptography at Zama

Carl Bootland has a varied work experience. From 2022 to present, they have worked as a Senior Researcher in Cryptography for Zama. From 2015 to 2022, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher and PHD Researcher for COSIC (KU Leuven). From 2013 to 2012, they were the President and Secretary of the Oxford University Orienteering Club.

Carl Bootland has a Doctor of Engineering Science from KU Leuven, a Master of Science from Royal Holloway, University of London, and a Master of Mathematics from the University of Oxford. Carl studied Cryptography at KU Leuven, Mathematics of Cryptography and Communications at Royal Holloway, and Mathematics at the University of Oxford between 2015 and 2021, 2014 and 2015, and 2010 and 2014 respectively.
