Petar Ivanov has a long and varied work experience in the software engineering and blockchain fields. Petar began their career in 2006 as a Service Platforms Trainee at Globul. Petar was promoted to Service Platforms Engineer in 2007 and worked part-time in this role until 2010. In 2010, they joined Circles Bulgaria as a C++ Software Developer and was promoted to C++ Team Leader in the same year. Petar was responsible for a team of 10-15 developers and worked on software design and programming. In 2015, Petar joined Concurrent Systems as a Senior C++ Developer and Software Architect. Petar worked on a cross-platform, concurrent and real-time mobile network provisioning system written in C++ and JavaScript. In 2019, they joined VMware as a Staff Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, Blockchain. Petar'sfocus was to run a blockchain on top of Byzantine fault tolerant state machine replication in C++. In 2022, Petar joined Zama as a Fellow Engineer (Blockchain).
Petar Ivanov has an extensive education history. Petar obtained a High School degree from Mathematics High School "Geo Milev" in Pleven in 2004. Petar then went on to obtain a BSc in Telecommunications in 2008. After that, they earned an MSc in Computer Science from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski in 2010. In addition, they also obtained certifications in Cisco CCNA, Network OS, Security I and II, Wireless Networking from the Cisco Academy at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski in 2010, GSM Signalling in the Core Network from Ericsson Bulgaria in 2008, and a Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) from Cambridge University in 2004.
