Jonathan Khazam is a senior executive, board member, advisor, and investor with over 25 years of technology leadership experience and 13 years of board experience. With a distinctive combination of business and technical acumen, Jon has a proven track record of bringing new technology products to market and driving business growth with strategies that deliver meaningful customer value and sustainable competitive advantage. He is well-regarded for his ability to build organizations from the ground up, develop new leaders, and scale globally distributed teams.
Jon was most recently Corporate Vice President and General Manager of the Visual & Parallel Computing Group at Intel Corporation. There he oversaw the expansion of Intel's integrated graphics roadmap to higher performance points and new market segments, growing Intel graphics share from ~50% in 2010 to >70% in 2015. From 2005 to mid-2010, Jon built and led the Manageability & Middleware Division, an internal start-up focused on value-add manageability and security software products. In 1999, Jon formed a new division to develop and commercialize Intel software tools including award-winning Intel Compilers, VTune Performance Analyzers, and many others.
Jon joined Intel in 1991 and held a number of marketing and management roles spanning microprocessors, graphics, and software. Prior to joining Intel, Jon held marketing and development positions at EIP Microwave and Hewlett-Packard.
Jon has also served on the boards of public and private/venture-funded companies, including Integrated Silicon Solution, Inc. (NASDAQ: ISSI), the Eclipse Foundation, and Zend Technologies.
Jon has an MBA from the Haas School of Business at U.C. Berkeley and a B.S.E.E. from Cornell University. He holds two patents.
