Amanda Rick has a diverse work experience in the fashion industry, starting with their role as a Buyer at House of Fraser from 2001 to 2006. During this time, they specialized in intimates and successfully launched new lingerie brands, securing exclusive collaborations and achieving high ratings for bra fitting. Amanda also played a key role in the complete uplift of the lingerie department in multiple flagship stores.
Following their time at House of Fraser, Amanda worked as a Buyer at Figleaves.com from 2005 to 2007, where they played a crucial role in building and launching the swimwear portfolio. Amanda was also responsible for launching the first online Speedo and Shock Absorber shops in the UK and represented the company in Australia, where they bought from key brands.
Amanda then joined TK Maxx as a Buyer from 2008 to 2010 before joining Selection Branded Clothing as a Creative Director for a brief period in 2011. Amanda subsequently took on the role of Senior Buyer at Zando from 2011 to 2019, where they had total control of the women's clothing and intimates department and managed a portfolio of 45 suppliers. In their most recent role at Zando, Amanda served as the Head of Buying, overseeing multiple departments including women's apparel, sports, and kids, and leading the purchasing department as a CPO.
