Zano is a privacy-by-default blockchain platform building fast, scalable infrastructure that empowers individuals and institutions to participate in the digital economy with complete confidentiality. Founded by the creator of CryptoNote (the technology behind the first privacy coins), Zano represents the evolution of blockchain privacy.

World-First Innovation: Zano operates on the world's first private Proof-of-Stake consensus mechanism. Every transaction keeps sender and receiver identities hidden, along with amounts and asset types. Wallet balances and asset holdings remain completely confidential.

Confidential Assets: Our Confidential Assets framework enables custom tokens with native Zano-level privacy. Real implementations include:

🔹 Freedom Dollar: Privacy stablecoin 1:1 pegged to the US dollar, overcollateralized with Zano
🔹 Confidential Layer: Trustless, non-custodial bridge to make transparent assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum private on Zano
🔹 Obscura: Privacy-focused NFT platform for confidential digital collectibles

Developer Infrastructure: Zano provides comprehensive tools for building privacy-preserving applications at scale. Developers can create confidential financial systems, private marketplaces, and secure digital ecosystems with production-ready infrastructure.

Privacy by Design: Unlike privacy added as an afterthought, Zano's architecture ensures every transaction is confidential by default. Users maintain complete financial sovereignty on battle-tested cryptographic foundations.
