Ben Rosen has had extensive work experience in various roles and companies.
Ben started their career as an Intern (Programming Analyst) at Graffica in 2014, where they developed a Train Evaluation Tool in Java and created a tree display for a rail simulation.
In 2015, they joined Tessella as a Junior Analyst Programmer, where they refactored legacy code to object-oriented Fortran and developed a GUI in Python for data visualization. Ben later became an Associate Analyst Programmer and then an Analyst Programmer before leaving the company in 2019.
In 2015, Ben also started working as a Mobile Games Developer at Rosenburger Games, where they created mobile games for Android and iOS platforms. One of their successful projects was NumberDrop, a challenging maths puzzle game.
Since 2019, Ben has been working at Zapmap, initially as an iOS App Developer and currently as the Lead Mobile Apps Developer. In this role, they have been responsible for building and growing the mobile team, leading both the iOS and Android apps, and overseeing architecture design and project planning. Under their leadership, Zapmap has seen rapid growth, and they have been involved in projects like Zap-Pay and Subscriptions.
Ben Rosen attended the University of Birmingham from 2011 to 2015, where they pursued a MSci degree in Physics.

Launched in June 2014, Zap-Map.com is a new website dedicated to all aspects of electric vehicles and charging. With the choice of EVs and charging point infrastructure growing rapidly, their aim is to provide current and prospective EV owners with clear, current information, enabling more people to make informed choices and obtain the benefits ofdriving electric.In 2015, Zap-Map launched it’s first mobile app. Available on both iOS and android, it offers EV drivers a way of easily locating charge points on the move.
