Our story begins in a small village in North Karnataka—the founder’s native place—where weaving was once the soul of the community. Looms clattered in nearly every home, and artisans poured their skill and pride into every thread. Today, only a fraction of those looms remains. That quiet disappearance of a once-vibrant craft became the starting point for Zarii.

Zarii was born to honour the artisan. To restore the dignity, recognition, and value that skilled weavers and karigars deserve. We work closely with them—not just to create beautiful sarees, but also by making their artistry relevant to today’s world—bringing back what has been slowly fading: their purpose, their pride, and their rightful place in the modern landscape.
