Amir Marandi has been involved in a variety of roles since 2016. In that year, they became the CEO and Co-founder of Zaver, where they were responsible for building next generation payment services from scratch and protecting customers from fraudsters, high fees, and hassle. Amir was also a Jr Business Developer at Nordnet Bank AB and completed a B.Sc. Thesis Work in Production Engineering at AstraZeneca. During their thesis work, they analyzed and investigated the maturity level of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) implementation at AstraZeneca, in cooperation with the SweOps department.
Amir Marandi received their Studentexamen (high school diploma) from Blackebergs gymnasium in 2013. Amir then attended KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2018, where they earned a Degree Progr. in Mechanical Engineering, Master of Science (M.Sc.) Industrial Management. In addition, they have earned two certifications: Forbes 30 under 30 Europe 2020 from Forbes in March 2020, and Sveriges 101 Supertalanger 2019 from Veckans Affärer in May 2019.
