Maria Thulin

Maria Thulin has held a variety of roles in the design, photography, and customer service industries since 2006. In 2007, they worked as a Vårdbiträde for Nyköpings kommun. Maria then worked as a Förskollärare, Vikarie for Nyköpings kommun in 2006. In 2008, they worked as a Customer Service / Technical Support for Boxers Kundservice / Teleperformance. From 2009-2010, they held various roles including Retoucher for RBLS Sweden AB, Photographer / Retoucher for Frilans, and Retoucher / LIA for Bohman & Sjöstrand AB. From 2014-2020, they held roles at Coop Sverige, MyNewsDesk, Valtech, and Zaver. At Coop Sverige, they worked as an Art Director and Senior Retoucher / Supervisor. At MyNewsDesk, they worked as a Product Designer. At Valtech, they worked as an Art Director (UI/UX). At Zaver, they held roles as Head Of Design and Design Lead.

Maria Thulin has a diverse educational background. Maria completed a Gymnasium in Arts and Crafts from Tessinskolan in 2003-2006. In 2008, they obtained a Diploma 7.5hp in Fotografi, GR, (B), Digital stillbild B from Mid Sweden University and a Diplom in Digital Bildbehandling from Jönköping University. Maria also completed Yrkeslinjen in Digital Bildbehandling from Fotoskolan Sthlm in 2008-2010. In 2013, they completed a Professional, Evening Course in Grafisk Design och Kommunikation from Berghs School of Communication. In 2015, they completed a Professional, Evening Course in Art Direction from Berghs School of Communication. In 2018, they completed a Digital design - Upgrade from Berghs School of Communication. In addition, Maria Thulin has obtained several certifications, including SheCodes Basics from SheCodes in 2022, Interaction Design for the Web, Interaction Design: Design Patterns as Building Blocks, UX Foundations: Style Guides and Design Systems, Strategic Thinking, UX Design: 2 Analyzing User Data, and Typography and Lettering for Logo Design from Udemy in 2019.
