Dan Ackerman

Dan Ackerman is an experienced telecommunications professional currently serving as Sr. Director of Network Expense at Zayo Group since June 2018, where Dan leads a team focused on Type II quoting, ordering, and optimization for Ethernet ELINE services. Prior to this role, Dan worked as a Planning Manager at Career Transition Telecommunications in early 2018, and held various positions at Verizon from 2010 to 2018, including Principal Member of Technical Staff and Sr. Engineer Network Planning. Dan’s career also includes a managerial role in network access planning at Verizon Business and MCI Telecommunications Corporation from 2003 to 2010. Dan holds a BA in Finance and Economics, with minors in Computer Science from Wichita State University, and has pursued further education at Oklahoma State University.
