Benjamin Daniel

Benjamin Daniel has an extensive career in journalism, currently serving as Deputy Head of Editorial Staff at ZDF since February 2006. His experience includes roles as North and Central America Correspondent based in Washington, D.C., and adviser to the ZDF Chief Editor Dr. Peter Frey. Prior positions at ZDF include editor and reporter for the "heute journal" and various editorial roles in politics and current affairs. Benjamin Daniel also gained experience at SWR between September 2007 and March 2009 as a reporter and editor. Academically, Benjamin Daniel holds a Magister Artium degree in American Studies and Political Science from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and completed secondary education at Martin Butzer Gymnasium Dierdorf and Coppell High School in Texas.
