Toby Marshall

Toby Marshall is a seasoned cameraman and video editor with extensive experience in the broadcast industry. Since November 2018, Toby has been self-employed, providing videography and editing services. Toby has worked at ZDF German TV since January 1994, contributing to the production of documentaries, features, and news stories, while managing live feeds for East Asia Studios in Tokyo and Beijing. Prior to ZDF, Toby gained experience as a video editor and cameraman at The Christian Science Monitor from 1989 to 1992, and as an editor and soundman at CNN from 1986 to 1989. Toby's early career includes work as an actor with The Living Theatre from September 1975 to September 1980. Toby holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts from California State University, Northridge, and attended the University of California, Berkeley.
