Passive may include thermal insulation, new technology window and door frames amongst others. Lighting, geothermal systems, green HVAC and power saving appliances can also be proposed. The energy that will unavoidably be needed for your building's operation will be offset by active systems, primarily production of electricity by using renewable energy sources.
