Leandro Nunes

Leandro Nunes is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in backend engineering, API design, and software architecture across multiple companies, including ZBD, Brex, and Modular Mining. Currently serving as a Senior Platform Engineer at ZBD since September 2025, Leandro has previously contributed to significant projects such as refactoring a mono-repository into a microservices architecture at Brex and developing a new simulation framework at Modular Mining. Leandro holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Mathematics and a postgraduate degree in Software Engineering from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. Notable achievements include developing a highly efficient AntiSpam algorithm and leading successful API development projects that enhanced customer satisfaction and operational scalability.
