Derek Spychalski

Derek Spychalski serves as the Vice President, Corporate Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, and Assistant Corporate Secretary at Zebra Technologies, with a tenure starting in June 2006. Throughout various roles at Zebra Technologies, Derek has focused on corporate law, compliance, and mergers and acquisitions, holding positions such as Americas General Counsel and Lead Counsel for Securities and M&A, and General Counsel for Latin America. Prior to Zebra Technologies, Derek was an Associate at Vedder Price from April 2003 to June 2006. Academic qualifications include a JD from Chicago-Kent College of Law, a Master of Science in Financial Markets from the Illinois Institute of Technology, an MBA in Accounting from Loyola University Maryland, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The Johns Hopkins University.
