John Gallagher

John Gallagher has extensive experience in the field of physical therapy and musculoskeletal health. John currently serves as the Director of Musculoskeletal Health at Zeel since January 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of National Director of Physical Therapy at Zeel from February 2021 to August 2023.

Before joining Zeel, John worked at Excel Physical Therapy for several years. John started as a Physical Therapist in May 2017 and later took on roles as Clinic Manager and Regional Director. John'stenure at Excel Physical Therapy lasted until February 2021.

John also gained experience at Professional Physical Therapy, where they worked as a Physical Therapist and Clinical Director from September 2016 to May 2017.

Additionally, they worked as a Physical Therapist and Clinic Manager at ProVere enterprises from February 2016 to August 2016.

John began their career at Pfizer Inc., where they held the position of Senior Physical Therapist/Health and Fitness Specialist from June 2004 to December 2015.

Throughout their career, they have also provided their expertise as an Adjunct Professor at Eastwick College from April 2008 to April 2009 and as the Head Physical Therapist for the NY Saints Prof Indoor Lacrosse team from November 2003 to November 2004.

John's earliest work experience in physical therapy dates back to February 2001 when they served as a Physical Therapist at Nassau Sports PT of Huntington, where they also held the role of Head Therapist for the New York Saints Prof. Indoor Lacrosse team.

John Gallagher has a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy/Therapist from Dominican University New York, which they obtained between 2009 and 2012. John also holds a Master's degree in Physical Therapy from City University of New York-College of Staten Island, which they earned from 1997 to 2000. John'sundergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Criminal Justice from the University of Delaware, completed from 1991 to 1995. In addition to their formal education, John Gallagher has a certification as a Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist from the Back School of Atlanta.
