Newell J.

Newell J. has worked in the software development field since 1999. Newell began their career as a Multimedia Developer at BAE Systems (CTI/MTC Technologies) in 1999. In 2005, they moved to The Centech Group Inc as a Web-Training Specialist. Newell then moved to TATE, Incorporated in 2007, where they served as a Multimedia Specialist creating Flash-based courseware for the Joint Personnel Recovery Agency (JPRA). In 2010, they took on the role of Lead Programmer at QinetiQ North America, managing, developing, and migrating advanced backend courseware architecture utilizing Flex (AS3), JScript, and HTML5. In 2012, they moved to PAE as a Web Programmer. Most recently, in 2021, they began working as a Full-stack Developer at Zekiah Technologies, writing and debugging code for large, enterprise Angular JS applications.

Newell J. graduated from Courtland High School in 1991 and then attended the Savannah College of Art and Design, where they earned a BFA in Painting / Illustration in 1995. Newell has also obtained several certifications, including Introduction to Git and GitHub from Coursera in October 2021, Using Python to Interact with the Operating System from Coursera in September 2021, Crash Course on Python from Coursera in August 2021, Learn Python 2 from Code Academy in January 2020, and CompTIA Security+ ce from CISSP and CompTIA Security+ Network+ A+ Server+ Instructor in December 2018.
