Steven Jachec

Steven Jachec, Ph.D., P.E., is a Professional Engineer and Senior Research Engineer with over 25 years of experience in fluid mechanics, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), and coastal engineering. They hold a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Stanford University and have worked in various roles, including Associate Professor at both the Florida Institute of Technology and the United States Naval Academy. Currently, they serve as a Senior Research Engineer at Zel Technologies LLC while providing expert witness services in fluid mechanics and coastal engineering. Steven has received multiple professional engineering licenses and was awarded the Office of Naval Research Young Investigator Program award in 2011.
