Ignacio Fuentes is the US Chief Development Officer and Country Manager - Vice President of Business Development at Zelestra, a position held since November 2022. Prior to Zelestra, Ignacio served as Head of Origination and M&A at Trina Solar from May 2022 to October 2022. Ignacio's extensive experience in project development includes roles as Director of Project Development at Brightmark, Head of Project Development at Idemitsu Renewables, and Head of Project Development and Business Development Manager at X-Elio. Ignacio began career as a Purchasing Engineer and Project Engineer at Foster Wheeler Energy Ltd. Ignacio holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D.
