Thomas O'Brien

Thomas O'Brien is a Junior Machine Learning Developer at Zelim since October 2022, contributing to advancements in machine learning technologies. Prior to this role, Thomas gained experience as part of the hospitality team at the University of St Andrews Students' Association from July 2018 to November 2022. Through the Laidlaw Foundation's Leadership program, Thomas completed a two-year summer internship, engaging in research on analogue systems and organizing an academic conference focused on analogue black holes while developing educational materials for primary students. Additional roles include working with a golf team at The Renaissance Club in 2019, a spring internship at Morgan Stanley, and a work experience opportunity at The Royal Observatory in March 2015. Thomas obtained a Master’s degree in Pure Mathematics and Theoretical Physics from the University of St Andrews, completing studies in June 2022.
