Daniel Hackl

Daniel Hackl has over 18 years of professional experience in sales, marketing, product management, and product development. Daniel began their career in 2002 as a Platoon Leader - Lieutenant First Class for the German Air Force. In 2007, they interned as an Export Assistant at Somexport where they were responsible for import/export of foodstuff, sales administration, sourcing, and canvassing in regions such as Africa, French overseas-regions, Middle East, and South America. From 2008 to 2011, they worked for Volkswagen in various roles such as Product Controller, Senior Technical Officer in Product Management, and Production & Logistics Intern. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as Product Marketing Manager at Savox Communications Ltd where they were responsible for product marketing in all product lines commercialized in North America and grew sales by 400%. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as Manager Global Strategy and Market Readiness at Absolute Software where they oversaw sales enablement activities. From 2017 to 2019, they were the Founder of Sales Excellence Framework and Vice President Global Sales & Marketing at AINA Wireless. In 2019, they were the Director Global Sales & Marketing at OnGuard Safety. Currently, they are the Director Ecosystem at Zello.

Daniel Hackl has a diverse educational background. Daniel obtained a Diplom in Corporate Management, Production, International Economic Relations, and Marketing from Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg between 2003 and 2008. Daniel then earned a Master in Export, Intercultural Management from Brest Business School in 2005-2007. In 2014-2015, they completed a UBC Certificate in Digital Strategy from UBC Continuing Studies. Daniel also attended BrainStation in 2018 for SEO/SEM and Analytics. Daniel has obtained numerous certifications, including a Search Engine Marketing Certificate from BrainStation in March 2018, a Visual Analytics BI Tableau from BCIT Computing in February 2017, a Relational Database & SQL from BCIT Computing in 2015, a CompTIA Security+ ce from CompTIA in December 2016, and various certifications from Pragmatic Institute (Pragmatic Marketing + TDI).
