Michael Libourel has over 30 years of professional experience in the tech industry. Michael began their career in 1986 as a software developer at Computer Beheer BV (SCBHBO). In 1987, they became a consultant at ACE Associated Computer Experts. In 1998, they were a development manager at SeeBeyond. From 2007 to 2011, they were a Staff Engineer at Sun Microsystems. From 2011 to 2021, they were an app dev and cyber security professional at AT&T Business Wi-Fi Solutions. Currently, they are a senior security operations engineer at Zello.

Michael Libourel received their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Saxion University of Applied Sciences between 1982 and 1986. Michael also attended 2de VCL from 1975 to 1981.
