Matt Small

Matt Small is currently the Lead Design Engineer at Zelp Ltd, a position they have held since 2025 after ascending from Senior Design Engineer in 2023. Previously, they worked as a Senior Device Development Engineer at Oval Medical Technologies Ltd from 2022 to 2023 and gained valuable experience as a Product Development Engineer at Fisher & Paykel Healthcare from 2017 to 2022. Matt began their career as a Design Engineer Intern and Mechanical Assembly Intern at Compac Sorting Equipment in 2014. They earned a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Auckland, completing their degree in 2016.
