Dawn Chan

Dawn Chan is the APAC Director at Zemanta. Dawn has over 25 years of experience in media, marketing, and advertising.

Dawn started their career as a journalist at the South China Morning Post (SCMP), one of the leading newspapers in Hong Kong. Dawn then transitioned into advertising and became the International Business Director for SCMP’s Advertising & Marketing Solutions division. In this role, they were responsible for ad revenue generation globally, working with clients, agencies, and media representatives to grow new business.

In 2016, they co-founded Snowball Entertainment Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based media company. As Managing Director, they oversaw all aspects of the company’s operations.

In 2020, they were invited to serve on the Regional Board of IAB Southeast Asia and India. In this role, they provided strategic guidance to the organization on its initiatives and projects.

Chan is a thought leader in the media industry and is passionate about helping companies transform their businesses. Dawn has been instrumental in changing the perception of SCMP from a Hong Kong newspaper to a digital leader for the world.
