ZemmourBallet is a contemporary dance company based in Sherbrooke, Quebec, recognized for a distinctive épaissiste dance language that brings together human density, emotional force, and a high level of artistic rigor.

The company creates, produces, and presents choreographic works designed to leave a lasting mark, both on stage and in public space. Its work seeks a rare point of convergence between artistic rigor, genuine accessibility, and public impact.

At the core of its identity is Épaissisme, developed by Nicolas Zemmour, which gives shape to an épaissiste dance grounded in lived experience, emotional resonance, and human depth. More than an aesthetic, Épaissisme is a framework for creation and experience that can deeply engage perception, sensitivity, and thought.

From Sherbrooke, ZemmourBallet develops works, tours, and collaborations with presenters, institutions, municipalities, and partners seeking to host work that is distinctive, ambitious, and profoundly human.
