John Lyons

John Lyons currently serves as the Technology Director and CTO at Zen Internet, where responsibilities include overseeing a 170-member Technology department encompassing various teams across Network & Infrastructure, Systems Development, and more. With a rich history at Zen since 2006, previous roles include General Manager of Cloud & Hosting, where P&L responsibility for mid-market solutions on Public Cloud platforms was held, and Head of Cloud & Technical Services, which involved founding a new Cloud business unit. Additional experience includes key positions at UK Network Operators Forum, THUS, and Magnet Networks, alongside contributions to INEX as a non-executive director. John Lyons holds a BSc (Hons) in Pure and Applied Chemistry from Dublin City University and furthered education at Cambridge Judge Business School.
