Jon Lodge

Jon Lodge has a diverse background in IT and technology. Jon started their career at Thistle Hotels as a Systems Analyst and later became a Unix System Administrator. During their time there, they played a key role in upgrading and rebuilding business systems, as well as implementing new IT infrastructure capabilities.

In 2007, Jon founded their own freelance IT consultancy called Think Euclid Ltd. Jon initially supported the outsourcing of Thistle IT functions to Orange Business Services and eventually undertook critical projects for new clients. One notable project involved a systems migration for a major semi-conductor manufacturer in Geneva.

From 2009 to 2015, Jon worked at Orange Business Services as a Technical Lead in International Cloud Operations. Jon was responsible for launching the company's cloud environment and designing Vblock 700 MX cloud infrastructures across Europe, Asia Pacific, and the US. Jon successfully resolved numerous issues prior to the launch and maintained zero downtime during critical Vblock upgrades.

Currently, Jon is working as a Lead Designer in Cloud and Hosting at Zen Internet Limited, starting in 2015.

Jon Lodge obtained a Bachelor's degree in Pure Mathematics and geography from The University of Sheffield, graduating in 1996. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including VMware Certified Professional 5 - VCP5-DCV from VMware in December 2014. Jon also holds certifications from IBM, Check Point Software Technologies, Sun Microsystems, and VCE, although the specific months and years of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
