Jonathan Davis

Jonathan Davis has over 17 years of work experience in the IT industry. From 2003 to 2013, they worked as an IT Development and Support Officer at Tameside Council, where they provided second-line support for council software and introduced open source software. Since 2013, they have been employed at Zen Internet, starting as a Technical Support Services Consultant and later becoming a Specialist Technical Support Consultant in Hosting and an Information Security Analyst. In these roles, Jonathan provided technical support to customers, assisted with broadband connections and network configurations, and was responsible for day-to-day security operations, incident response, and analysis of security events.

Jonathan Davis attended Tameside College from 2001 to 2003, where they obtained an AVCE degree in ICT. From 2009 to 2016, they pursued a Social Sciences degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from The Open University. In terms of additional certifications, Jonathan obtained the ITIL® Version 3 Foundation Certificate in IT Service from QA Training in August 2010 and became a Microsoft Certified Professional in August 2005. Jonathan also holds a certification in Network+ from Comptia, although the specific month and year of its attainment are unknown.
