John Forstrom

John Forstrom's work experience begins with their current position as CEO at Zencore Group, a boutique firm specializing in Google Cloud infrastructure and data products. As CEO, they lead a team of former Google Cloud architects and engineers, providing trusted advisory services for large-scale Google Cloud transformations and migrations.

Before joining Zencore Group, John worked as a Partner at Qarik Group from January 2020 to March 2021.

Prior to that, they spent six years at Google, where they held the role of Business Development/Strategic Accounts for Google Cloud. In this role, they collaborated closely with the largest entertainment companies worldwide, driving digital transformation and cloud technology adoption. John also worked closely with Google Cloud's product management and engineering teams to develop industry-specific solutions.

From 2009 to 2013, John served as the Director of Strategic Accounts at RightScale, where they focused on evangelizing multi-cloud and AWS adoption. John successfully led a team that specialized in strategic gaming, media, and entertainment companies, and was responsible for securing the company's largest contract in 2013.

Between 2001 and 2008, John worked at Savvis as part of the Strategic Accounts team, specifically focusing on the media and entertainment industry.

Prior to that, from 2000 to 2001, they worked as a Sales Manager for Enterprise Accounts at ICNT.

Beginning their career in 1997, John worked at Pioneer Standard as a Data Communications Vertical Sales representative. In this role, they sold semiconductors to data communication and high technology equipment manufacturers in Southern California. John also managed a team of two inside sales representatives and three field application engineers while reporting to the VP of Sales.

John Forstrom has a BA degree in Political Science from UC Irvine.
