Greg Crabtree has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Greg currently holds the position of Senior Vice President of Engineering at RiskOptics since May 2022. Prior to this, they were the VP of Engineering at RiskOptics from May 2021 to May 2022.

From 2014 to 2021, Greg served as the Vice President of Engineering at Lifesize, where they managed the video conferencing SaaS and hardware engineering organization. During their tenure, they implemented a multi-year, end-to-end rearchitecture that resulted in a 100x scale improvement, increased reliability, and reduced total cost of ownership.

Before Lifesize, Greg worked at Bloomfire as a Mobile Architect from December 2012 to March 2014. Greg then founded D-Cypher Software in 2008, where they served as CEO until March 2012. The company initially focused on developing mobile games for the iOS app store and later shifted to developing iOS and Android mobile applications.

Greg's earlier experience includes roles at Intrinsity as a Logic Design Engineer and Systems Software Engineer from 2001 to 2008, where they worked on microprocessor logic design and high-speed DSP algorithm development. Greg also worked as a Software Consultant at OneRealm from October 2000 to April 2001, specializing in backend software development and internationalization projects.

Greg began their career at Motorola, where they served as an Imaging Algorithms Engineer from July 1999 to October 2000, focusing on algorithm development for imaging applications. Greg also participated in the Engineer Rotation Program at Motorola from July 1998 to July 1999.
