Péter Ekler

Péter Ekler has a diverse background in technology and academia. Péter currently serves as the Global Head of Future Technology at Zenitech since September 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Associate Professor at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics Department of Automation and Applied Informatics since March 2017.

Earlier in their career, Péter worked as the CTO at AutSoft Ltd. starting from November 2018, where they were responsible for technical leadership. Before that, they served as the Android Technical Lead from July 2011 to November 2018.

Péter also has experience in academia, having worked as a Senior Lecturer at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics Department of Automation and Applied Informatics from May 2011. Péter also worked there as a PhD Student and Software Developer from September 2007 to April 2011.

Additionally, Péter has served as a Lecturer at the Aquincum Institute of Technology (AIT-Budapest) since June 2013. Earlier in their career, they worked as an External Software Developer at Nokia Siemens Networks from October 2007 to December 2011 and as a Software Developer at Nokia Research Center from June 2007 to August 2007.

Péter Ekler obtained their PhD in Informatics from Budapest University of Technology and Economics from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, they earned their MSc in Technical Informatics from the same institution from 2002 to 2007. In addition, they hold certifications in "Software as a Service" from edX, obtained in July 2012, and "AWS Academy Educator" from Amazon Web Services (AWS), obtained in January 2023.
