Allison Mar

Allison Mar has worked in the software development industry since 2015. Allison began their career as an Undergraduate Student at Los Alamos National Laboratory, where they programmed the reverse Cuthill-Mckee Algorithm in Fortran 2008. In 2016, they became a Consulting Intern at Pariveda Solutions, where they worked on a team that restructured the iOS side of a client's existing app by using C# and Xamarin to implement the app's logic and modernize the UI. In 2017, they were promoted to Associate at Pariveda Solutions, where they implemented an ASP. NET Core API that runs on an Azure App Service for an application with an Angular front-end. In 2020, they joined Zenput as a Senior Software Engineer I, where they work on a team that manages a SaaS solution that allows restaurants to ensure that their safety processes have been completed. In this role, they have added components to the React front-end, endpoints to the Django back-end, and views to the mobile codebase in Backbone. Additionally, they have presented at internal company training sessions and worked with the product team to help plan out new features.

Allison Mar attended UC Irvine from 2013 to 2017, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science.
