Jonathan Karlsson

Jonathan Karlsson is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in developing cutting-edge technologies for self-driving cars and industrial automation. Currently at Zenseact since September 2020, Jonathan focuses on emergency trajectory planning and safe system design for autonomous driving applications. Prior to this role, Jonathan co-founded Substream in November 2004, utilizing a LAMP stack for development. Jonathan's background includes work at Zenuity, where Jonathan contributed to the same projects as at Zenseact during the company's transition in 2020. Experience also includes a tenure at ABB from February 2014 to February 2018, where Jonathan was involved in the creation of RobotStudio, and a role at Ajilon Consultants AB from August 2012 to January 2014, focusing on iPhone/iPad development and web support for RobotStudio. Jonathan holds a Master of Science in Engineering Physics from Chalmers University of Technology, completed in 2012.
