Matt Holt

Matt Holt has extensive experience in private equity and company leadership, serving as Managing Director and President at New Mountain Capital since August 2001, where partnerships with management teams focus on building growth companies. Holt holds leadership roles at several organizations, including Chairman of Smarter Technologies since May 2025, and Chairman of Machinify since January 2023, both founded through strategic mergers and acquisitions. As Chairman of Datavant since November 2014, Holt led key acquisitions and the merger that formed the Datavant Group in 2021. Additional directorships include positions at Finvi, emids, Topix Pharmaceuticals, and Office Ally, where Holt recently spearheaded investments. Holt's prior role as Chairman of Signify Health included significant acquisitions and a successful sale to CVS for $8 billion. Holt holds an A.B. in English and American Literature and Language from Harvard University, completed in 1999.
