Rian Aldridge has extensive work experience in the technology and information security sector. Rian has worked as a Director of Information Security at Zeplin, Inc., where they played a crucial role in the early-stage startup's growth and development. Aldridge also founded and served as the Principal Director of consultancy agency Transformative I.T., where they specialized in helping startups meet corporate-level security requirements and assisting corporate IT entities in becoming more competitive.
Prior to that, Aldridge held multiple roles at Santa Clara University, including Chief Information Security Officer/CISO and Director of Cyberinfrastructure Technologies/IT Director. During their time there, they led various projects related to infrastructure modernization, consolidation, and implementing new technologies.
Rian also has experience working at NSW Police Force, where they served as a Group Manager/IT Director and Interim Chief Technology Officer, managing procurement and implementation projects and introducing innovation and IT governance practices.
Additionally, Aldridge held positions at NSW Health, South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, and other organizations, where they were responsible for managing technology and information systems, infrastructure, and network security.
Throughout their career, Aldridge has demonstrated expertise in areas such as IT governance, project management, infrastructure resiliency, compliance, and cloud-based technologies.
Rian Aldridge completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Pure Math at the University of Wollongong from 1988 to 1991. Additionally, from 2009 to 2012, they pursued a Master's Degree in MPICT (Policing, Intelligence & Counter Terrorism) at Macquarie University.
