Webber Chao

Webber Chao has a total of eight years of work experience in industrial design. Webber started their career as an Industrial Design Intern at VALD Co., Ltd., where they provided sketches and 3D modeling for concept development. Webber also worked on the development of final concept rendering and physical mocks. At VALD, they employed effective communication and presentation skills when meeting with clients. After that, they transitioned to the role of Junior Industrial Designer at VALD, where they identified project requirements and design specifications, developed concepts through 2D/3D rendering and physical mocks, and used effective communication and presentation skills with clients.

In 2015, Webber joined HTC as an Industrial Designer, responsible for providing conceptual designs for specific project requirements. Webber analyzed competitor products and reported to the manager and produced prototypes and mockups to ensure ergonomic and detail. Webber also served as the Senior Industrial Designer at HTC, where they were responsible for the smartphone, IoT product, and phone accessories. Webber developed conceptual designs based on market analysis, user research, and technology, defined the next-generation design language and product roadmap.

Most recently, Webber has been working as the Industrial Design Lead at Zepp Health since 2018, where their role and responsibilities are not specified.

Webber Chao attended Taipei Municipal Xisong High School from 2007 to 2009 with no specified degree or field of study. Webber then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial and Product Design from Taipei University of Education from 2009 to 2012.
