Jon Addis

Jon Addis is an independent financial services professional with 30 years of experience as an international banker, primarily with HSBC. Previously, they served as Chief Operating Officer for HSBC in the Asia Pacific region and held various senior roles focused on financial training, trade services, and operational management throughout their career. Jon has also been an independent non-executive director for multiple organizations and actively engaged with charitable projects, including serving as Chairman of the British Malaysian Chamber of Commerce and the China Coast Community. In recognition of their contributions to UK Trade and Investment, Jon was awarded an OBE in June 2012. They hold degrees from Downing College, Cambridge, the Chartered Institute of Bankers, and Bangor University, along with a certification in Banking Governance from Bank Negara Malaysia.
