Peter Gadfort

Director of Silicon Engineering at Zero ASIC

Peter Gadfort has a diverse range of work experience spanning from 2000 to 2022. Starting as a Research and Development Intern at NCR in 2000, they later worked as a Networking Intern at SAIC before moving on to test physics questions for WebAssign. Gadfort then went on to complete their graduate studies at North Carolina State University, where they were a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant. Following their academic pursuits, they became a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Information Sciences Institute before moving to General Technical Services, LLC as a Silicon IC Design Engineer. In 2015, they joined the U.S. Army CCDC Army Research Laboratory as an Electrical Engineer, later becoming the Team Lead for Silicon Research. Currently, Gadfort holds the position of Director of Silicon Engineering at Zero ASIC.

Peter Gadfort earned a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University in 2008. Peter then went on to earn an MS in Electrical Engineering and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the same institution in 2009 and 2014, respectively. Prior to attending college, Gadfort completed their high school education at Oak Ridge High School from 2001 to 2004. Peter also obtained a certification in Leadership Principles for Engineers, Scientists, and Researchers from MIT xPRO in March 2020.
