Benjamin Greydanus is a scientist at Zero Carbon Systems // Global Thermostat, where they analyze and optimize materials for Direct Air Capture (DAC) of CO2. They completed their Ph.D. with a focus on studying adsorption for catalysis and utilizing data science tools to elucidate physical phenomena. Previously, Benjamin served as an Advanced Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder, mentoring students and conducting innovative research in catalysis. Their research experiences also include roles at KU Leuven, Colorado College, and the University of Utah, where they specialized in chemical engineering and environmental chemistry. In their spare time, Benjamin enjoys biking and skiing on the trails.
