David Cobar

David Cobar is an experienced program manager and coordinator specializing in sustainability and energy efficiency within the built environment. Currently serving as Program Manager for Sustainable Building Week and the ZERO Coalition, David leads events and initiatives focused on collaboration, decarbonization, and equity in Oregon. David also contributes as a Program Coordinator at Earth Advantage, where support is provided for residential energy efficiency and climate resilience initiatives. Previous roles include working as a Climate Corps Fellow with the City of San José and as a Building Decarbonization Project Fellow with SEI, where outreach and policy support were provided. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and has gained early research experience at NOAA and Elkhorn Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve.
