Joy Smith

Joy Smith is an experienced educator and leader currently serving as the Managing Director at Zero Dropouts, where they oversee key areas of programming and operational processes. Previously, Joy held roles such as Chief Program Officer at Colorado Youth for a Change and Principal at Futures Academy, focusing on community-building and innovative educational programs. With a background that includes teaching special education and Montessori curricula, Joy is committed to educational equity and empowering individuals to create change. Joy earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology and a Principal Licensure from the University of Denver and the University of Georgia.
