Stephen Williams

Stephen Williams has a comprehensive work experience in the legal field. Stephen currently holds the position of VP of Legal - Commercial at Zero Hash. Prior to this, they worked at FIS as a Corporate Counsel III for seven years. Stephen also gained valuable experience at law firms such as Akerman LLP and Kasowitz Benson Torres LLP, where they practiced as an Associate Attorney. Stephen has a strong background in representing financial institutions and asset managers in various legal matters. Stephen's earlier career includes roles as a Summer Associate at Kasowitz, Benson, Torres & Friedman LLP, a Legal Intern at the NYC Office of the Mayor, a Litigation Clerk at Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP, an Intern at the Institute for Public-Private Partnerships, and an Office Temporary at Florida Blue.

Stephen Williams obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law from Duke University School of Law, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science, with a minor in Business Administration, at the University of Florida from 2002 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, Stephen has obtained several certifications, including "Communicating with Empathy" and "Why Trust Matters" from LinkedIn in July 2022. Stephen was also admitted as an attorney in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York and the United States District Court, Southern District of New York in October 2013.
