John Meissner has extensive experience in leadership and entrepreneurship, currently serving as Co-Founder and Board Chair at LabStart, which connects entrepreneurs with innovative climate technologies. Previously, John was the Chief Executive Officer of Ascent OS, where a focus on residential solar installer operations led to $1 million in recurring contract value and significant pre-seed funding. As a Venture Partner at Impact Venture Capital, John supported seed-stage startups in artificial intelligence and environmental initiatives. In a brief tenure at Zero Homes, John served as Head of Growth, establishing a sales and partnership engine, and as an Interim Executive, successfully launched Zero 2.0, achieving impressive sales milestones. John also founded and managed MXV Ventures, facilitating innovation through various entrepreneurial programs. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Engineering Science and a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from UC San Diego.
