John P Davis

John P Davis has a diverse work experience in academia and research. John P is currently a Professor at the University of Alberta, where they have been in various roles since 2008, including Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics. Prior to that, they worked as a Post-doc at the university from 2008 to 2010. In addition to their work at the University of Alberta, John has also held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Zero Point Cryogenics since 2017. John P was a NINT Fellow at the National Institute for Nanotechnology, NRC from 2012 to 2021. John is also an Associate Member at the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research from 2010 to 2013. John P started their career as a Grad Student at Northwestern University from 2001 to 2008 and as an Undergraduate Researcher at Washington University in St. Louis from 1997 to 2001.

John P Davis has an extensive education history in the field of physics. John P began their educational journey at Francis Howell High School, where they completed their secondary education from 1993 to 1997. Following high school, John pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physics at Washington University in St. Louis from 1997 to 2001. John P then went on to attend Northwestern University, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Physics from 2001 to 2003. Continuing their academic pursuits at Northwestern, John completed their Ph.D. in Physics from 2001 to 2008. Throughout their educational journey, John demonstrated a consistent focus on the field of physics.
